Now for the long of the short of it.
Born and raised in Dallas, TX, somehow going against the grain in a likable way has always been my strongest trait. Known as a mover and shaker in any community I’ve adopted, I grew up leading in-school protests, creating environmental clubs and won state awards for performing and visual arts. This creative desire to always be right eventually turned into problem solving skills that came with a creative approach. Strategic planning impactful campaigns that utilize multiple platforms and tools has become my bread and butter.
After graduating in 2015 from University of Texas, I was given the opportunity to really flex my muscles in the PR industry with major clients under the Fleishman umbrella. Working on projects for AT&T, Texas Oncology, General Motors and our award winning Google Store activation gave me the next-level type of experience that I bring to the table time after time. This experience brought me to Denver, CO in 2016 and landed me a job with Outdoor Sportsman Group where I’ve helped to craft and lead several major initiatives.
When I’m not working my 9-5, I am running my women’s organization Denver Sad Girls Club. This community is made up of about 1400+ unique women local to Colorado. Together, we build bonds and foster friendships while learning new perspectives and gaining new cultures. In addition to our online community, we have multiple meet-ups and ticketed events throughout the year to foster IRL friendship. Our space is used to help women find vital domestic resources and become well-functioning adults in society.
And when I’m not running that, I’m out in the mountains getting content for my brand Currently Colorado. With an audience of over 12,000 — I take the average joe on spectacular adventures that are not only budget-friendly, but totally achievable. This brand has allowed me to travel all over the world and has helped me to hone in my understanding and experience in influencer and sponsor relations.
